Arbejdsmarkedsrelationer i dansk og europæisk perspektiv; udviklingen i organisations-, aftale- og reguleringsforhold i Danmark og andre EU-stater; dansk arbejdsmarkedsregulering og den institutionelle konkurrenceevne; flexicurity; overenskomstfornyelser; arbejdsmigration; industrial/employment relations-teori og institutionel teori.
Den aktuelle forskning omfatter bl.a. et projekt om effektivitet og balance i dansk arbejdsmarkedsregulering med fokus på aftalesystemet. Det er et internationalt komparativt projekt med analyser og sammenligning af regulering i Sverige, Tyskland, Frankrig og USA. Projektet gennemføres i samarbejde med Department of Business and Politics, CBS, under titlen Sources of National Institutional Competitiveness, SONIC.
